Starting our beautiful sightseeing tour of Thessaloniki with our professional tour
guide, we will drive along the front water façade of the city where you will have
the chance to see the White Tower and the statue of Alexander the Great. Continuing
our tour, we will visit the main landmarks of the city, such as the Galerius Arch,

Starting this wonderful walking tour from The Roman Forum known as Roman Agora,
situated between Agiou Dimitriou Street and Egnatia Street, one of the largest
archaeological sites in Thessaloniki. It is a fascinating historical, open-air site.
We will slowly walk down the road towards the sea, experiencing the local food
market area of the city, where we can taste the famous bougatsa and the different
kinds of olives, while our professional guide will share with you Thessaloniki’s
very interesting history!

“WELCOME TO THESSALONIKI” TOUR (2 ½ HOURS + bus

We will start our tour with the ancient City Walls’ area where we can admire a
marvelous panoramic view of Thessaloniki. Descending the City Walls, we will visit
the Church and Crypt of Agios Dimitrios, one of the world’s largest caches of
Byzantine architectural treasures. Following that, we will walk down the Ancient
Roman Market (Agora). By bus we will continue with a panoramic tour. We will pass by
the Old Port of Thessaloniki, we will reach Aristotelous square, designed by French
Architect Ernest Hebrard and will make a stop for photos at the White Tower, built
in the mid 15th century, originally formed part of the city’s fortifications. We
will continue with the statue of Alexander the Great, who named our city after his
sister Thessaloniki. We will pass by the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and
driving through Tsimiski street (the main commercial road of the city) we will end
our tour at Aristotelous Square.
